Heritage Golf acquires fourth Denver course with Ptarmigan Country Club

Heritage Golf Group announced the acquisition of its 39th course, Ptarmigan Country Club in Denver, Colorado. It joins three other Heritage courses in the area: The Golf Club at Bear Dance, Plum Creek Golf Club and Colorado National Golf Club.

Ptarmigan is a private full-service country club that features an 18-hole signature Jack Nicklaus golf course. Originally designed in 1979, the course accentuates the Rocky Mountain landscape and challenges all skill levels, featuring four sets of tees and 110 feet of elevation change. The club hosts active men’s and ladies’ leagues, social and competitive events, lessons and programming for junior golfers.

Other amenities at the club include a two-story clubhouse, multiple dining areas, private event spaces, fireside bar and lounge, outdoor patio, racquet sports with lighted pickleball courts and tennis and a junior Olympic size swimming pool.

“[The former owners have] built an outstanding legacy over the past 20+ years, and we are honored to carry it forward and build upon their foundation,” said Scott McMartin, chief acquisitions officer at Heritage Golf Group.
