PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. – Hayden Buckley will continue to represent University of Missouri men’s golf on the PGA Tour, earning his season-long card at the PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry on Sunday.
Needing a top-five finish to receive his spot on the tour, Buckley placed second during the tournament with a six-under 274. The 2018 Mizzou graduate carded a three-under 67 on back-to-back days over the weekend to secure his spot in the 170-golfer field.
Buckley enjoyed a standout career with the Tigers from 2014 to 2018. He earned third-team All-America honors as a senior as well as first-team All-SEC honors during the 2017-18 campaign. Overall, he claimed four individual titles during his tenure at Mizzou, posting a 69.5 stroke average in his final season in the Black & Gold.
After graduating from MU, Buckley first earned his card for the 2021-22 PGA Tour. He has made 90 starts on the PGA Tour, placing in the top five on five occasions, including a runner-up finish at the 2023 Sony Open in Hawaii.
Buckley is one of two former Mizzou golfers currently on the PGA Tour, joining 2009 graduate Peter Malnati.
