CAN TEAM LIV GOLF RECOVER?
The 16th has seen DeChambeau find some deep rough with his tee shot. He’s also got the small matter of a tree just to the left of the ball to deal with, too. If Team LIV’s chances were slim, they seem almost non-existent now. If McIlroy wins this hole against DeChambeau, it ends his hopes – and the team’s. It’s a nice recovery from DeChambeau, but there’s work to do.
Scheffler has less to worry about to the left of the fairway, and leaves his second shot at the back of the green. Solid shot. DeChambeau’s third shot finoshes close to Scheffler’s second. McIlroy’s next with his second, and, from the left of the fairway, leaves it close to a greenside bunker, and his third is safely on the green.
Koepka has a third shot that he lands on the green. It’s almost over for Team LIV though…
If there’s any thoughts that Las Vegas is sultry at this time of the year on an evening, take a look at Bryson DeChambeau between holes and you’ll think again! He’s been popping this huge coat on between holes to keep warm. It must feel a long time since the LIV Golf season, where shorts are generally the order of the day.

McIlroy’s third onto the green rolls for an age before coming to rest on the edge of it. His putt then falls alarmingly short before, with an opening having the luxury of two putts to win the hole, DeChambeau also comes up short.
Can Scheffler make birdie with his own long putt? No, but it was a tall order and he rolls it to within six inches. That leaves Koepka with a chance to win the hole, but it’s too far right and has too much pace.
McIlroy’s putt for bogey then misses left, and he concedes it to DeChambeau. Koepka then has a putt to tie, and misses right!
DeChambeau beats McIlroy, Scheffler beats Koepka. The PGA Tour duo are both 1up on the LIV Golf stars. We have three to play.
A BIG EFFORT NEEDED FROM THE LIV GOLF PAIR
We’re at the 482-yard par 4 15th, where Rory McIlroy is 2up on Bryson DeChambeau with four to play and Scottie Scheffler is all-square with Brooks Koepka. Remember, LIV Golf need to win both sessions to tie the match and take it to a…
