Huskies Return To Action, Begin 2025 In Guadalajara

GUADALAJARA, Mexico — The Washington women’s golf team is headed to Guadalajara this weekend for the Collegiate Invitational at the Guadalajara Country Club. This is the Huskies’ fifth tournament of the season and the first of 2025.

Virginia will host the tournament on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1, which will consist of competitors from 12 schools. 

Teams competing in the tournament include: No. 11 Virginia, No. 12 Florida State, No. 64 Maryland, No. 75 Colorado State, No. 43 SMU, No. 25 Houston, No. 23 TCU, No. 45 NC State, No. 62 Georgia, No. 54 Colorado, No. 123 Iowa, and No. 52 Washington.

This weekend’s tournament will include 54 holes over two days with 27 holes of play on both Friday and Saturday. The teams will re-pair after the first day based on results. Play starts both days at 6 a.m. PT. 

Round one begins Friday as UW will compete in a group with NC State and Houston. First tee will be at 6 a.m. PT.
