COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Maryland men’s golf team wrapped up at The Battle at Briar’s Creek Tuesday in Johns Island, S.C.
Sophomore Emil Riegger led the way for Maryland and finished tied for sixth. He earned a score of 211 (70-69-72), which was -5 overall. This was Riegger’s third top 20 finish and first top 10 of the season.
Sophomore Yang Kuang tied for 53rd with a score of 224 (76-73-75). Senior Florian Huerlimann earned a score of 226 (71-77-78). Freshman Will Gregware shot a 231 (75-74-82). Junior Armand Papaziani shot a 234 (80-77-77).
As a team, Maryland finished 12th of 14 teams with a combined score of 887 (292-293-302).
Next, the Terrapins will compete in the Palmas del Mar Intercollegiate in Puerto Rico Feb. 9-11.
