Concert Golf Partners has acquired the Club at SpurWing in Meridian, Idaho, a suburb of the state capital of Boise. The club becomes the 38th property in Concert’s growing portfolio and is its first in the state; it joins two other Rocky Mountain-area clubs, Hiwan Golf Club and the Ranch Country Club, both located near Denver.
SpurWing hosts an 18-hole, 7,300-yard championship course designed by Myron Tucker that is the longest private course in the region. It follows an upland ridge that offers views of Idaho’s Front Range as well as the lowland river forest. Hole #6 is the course’s signature hole, showcasing a tee that occupies an elevated plateau that hits down into the valley.
The property also features a 9-hole, par-3 course designed by former PGA Tour player Steve Pate that offers two sets of both tees and pins on every hole, accommodating all skill levels.
Some of the amenities at SpurWing include a golf practice facility, fitness center, five-lane swimming pool, three outdoor tennis/pickleball courts and scenic firepit tables, as well as indoor and outdoor event facilities and the Gold Tee dining room that can house approximately 120 guests.
“What stands out about The Club at SpurWing is not only the spectacular views of the mountains, but also the incredible camaraderie of its passionate membership,” said Jordan Peace, senior vice president of Concert Golf Partners. “SpurWing’s members have an inspiring love and affinity for their club that enables its social culture to represent the heart and soul of the Meridian community.”
Concert Golf had a busy 2024, acquiring such courses as The Club at Pasadera in Monterey, Calif.; TPC Jasna Polana in Princeton, N.J.; Golf Club of the Everglades in Naples, Fla.; and The Georgia Club near Athens, Ga. It has already started 2025 strong with the acquisition of Penn Oaks Golf Club near Philadelphia, Penn.
