COLLEGE PARK, MD — The Maryland women’s golf team is set to compete in the Chevron Collegiate this week at The Golf Club of Houston in Humble, Texas.
The two-day, 54-hole tournament tees off Monday morning with 36 holes with the Final Round beginning Tuesday morning. Fans can follow live scoring here.
Graduate student Karla Elena Vazquez Setzer, juniors Nicha Kanpai and Tammy Wu and freshmen Chananyu Chowiwattana and Anna Pillard will compete for Maryland.
Last year, the Terrapins finished second out of 16 teams at the Chevron Collegiate. Kanpai went -12 overall and tied for the individual title. She set her career best score of 209 (69-66-69) in the event.
