University of Missouri Women’s golf wrapped up play at the Westbrook Invitational Monday, finishing seventh of 14 teams.
As a team, the Tigers carded a four-under 284 in the final round to finish 7th place and above No. 50 Minnesota with a three-under 861 on the tournament. The 54-hole total marks the lowest on the season and the 10th best in program history, while the 18-hole score of 284 on Monday is also the team’s lowest of the season.
Senior Ffion Tynan carded a three-under 69 to finish the tournament in sixth place at eight-under (70-69-69). This marks her third career top-10 finish and second of the season, while her 54-hole score of 208 marks the second-lowest three-round total as a Tiger.
Junior Addie Dobson shot a career low round with a three-under 69, highlighted by an eagle on the eighth. Sophomore Fleur van Beek posted a one-over 73 to finish the tournament in 21st at three-under (70-70-73).
The Tigers return to action co-hosting the MountainView Collegiate on Sunday, March 2 in Tucson, Arizona.
