The Toulon name has been associated with some of the best golf clubs ever made in the last couple of decades, but particularly some of the best putters. After a stint at TaylorMade and seven years with Callaway and Odyssey Golf, Sean Toulon, his eldest son Tony and long-time friend Toru Kamatari, founded Toulon Golf (in partnership with Callaway) in 2023.

Since the first time I ever saw a Toulon putter, I have marvelled at the quality at the craftsmanship on offer and the new 2025 series of putters is no different. This putter is by far one of the best-looking putters I have ever seen in recent times, thanks to a new Anthracite finish that has been introduced that provides a real premium look via the charcoal and grey tones. The flashes of racing red and Italian heritage blue give this putter a pop of color to help it stand out on the shelf. I’m always a little skeptical over putters with this style of finish as I’ve tested some in the past where it wears off and can look a little scruffy – only more time will tell if that applies here too but it certainly looks robust and durable on first inspection.

These putters have been milled from a ultra-soft 304 stainless steel and although the Deep Tuna Face Mill is marginally deeper than the 24’ collection of putters, the Toulon team has incorporated a patented Small Tuna over-mill to ensure a buttery-soft feeling through impact. I recently tested a Kevin Burns 9307 putter with a unique pyramid face design and while I labeled that as the softest milled face I had ever used, the Toulon Las Vegas 25 series putter certainly gives it a run for its money.

It’s not just in the feel off the face where Toulon wants this putter to be regarded as soft, but also in its appearance. The plumbers neck hosel has been refined, there is a slightly more rounded top-line…
