TUSCON, Ariz. — Coming off a top-five finish at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz., the
Wisconsin women’s golf team returns to the Grand Canyon State for the Mountain View Collegiate.
Tournament play begins March 2 at The Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz.
THE TOURNAMENT:
Hosted by Kansas State and Missouri, the Mountain View Collegiate will feature 54 holes over three
days, with one round each day. The tournament will run from Sunday, March 2 through Tuesday,
March 4. Tee times will be from 8 – 10:20 a.m. on Sunday and Monday, off the 1st and 10th holes.
On the final day, the tournament will begin at 8:15 a.m. with a shotgun start.
The Mountain View Collegiate has been played every year since 1999, with the exception of 2020
due to COVID-19.
THE FIELD:
Teams competing along with Wisconsin include Kansas State, Missouri, Arizona, Cincinnati,
Furman, Hawaii, Iowa, Marshall, Miami (FL), Nebraska, Oklahoma, TCU and Wichita State.
Wisconsin’s lineup is made up of (1) Chloe Chan (2) Carly Carter (3) Vanessa Ho (4) Izzi Stricker
and (5) Kate Brody. Ava Salay will be competing as an individual.
THE COURSE:
The tournament will be played at the Preserve Golf Club in Tucson, Ariz. The course is a par 72 and
plays 6,345 yards. Built-in 2004 and nestled within the western foothills of the Santa Catalina
Mountains, the course features excellent views as well as dramatic elevation changes. The layout
utilizes the rolling desert ridges and deep arroyos, creating a golf course that is as challenging as it
is scenic.

LAST TIME OUT:
The Wisconsin women’s golf team tied for fourth place out of 14 teams at the 2025 Westbrook Invitational. The Badgers were the top finisher among four Big Ten teams and placed ahead of four ranked teams.
The tournament was highlighted by Vanessa Ho (-8) and Chloe Chan (-7), who both placed in the top 10 in the individual standings. A total of four Badgers had under-par third rounds, three of which
scored in the 60’s.
