PULLMAN, Wash. (March 2, 2025) – Washington State Women’s Golf returns to the course with a trip to northern California for the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, hosted by San Jose State Monday and Tuesday.
The Course and Tournament Format
The Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational will be held at the Meadow Club in Fairfax, Calif.
The course will play as a par-72 at 6,157 yards.
Teams will play 36 holes with an 8:15 a.m. shotgun start Monday and 18 holes with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start Tuesday.

In addition to Washington State and host No. 41 San Jose State, Denver, Nevada, No. 3 Oregon, No. 48 Oregon State, Sacramento State, San Francisco, Santa Clara, No. 4 USC, No. 1 Stanford, Texas Tech, No. 33 UNLV and Washington will make up the 14-team field.

Last Time Out
Senior Madelyn Gamble fired a final round 68 for Washington State Women’s Golf at the Westbrook Invitational in Peoria, Ariz. February 24. Gamble recorded four birdies and 14 pars to card a final round 68 and moved up 11 spots to finish tied for 31st. Sophomore Alice Johansson, senior Sarah Skovgaard Bils and freshman Grace Rubelsky all posted finals rounds of 74 with Johansson and Rubelsky each recording four birdies during their round. The Cougars posted a final round of plus-two as a team and finished the tournament tied for 13th with Sam Houston at plus-21.
Gamble, Johansson Named Preseason All-WCC
Madelyn Gamble and Alice Johansson of Washington State Women’s Golf were both named to the Preseason All-West Coast Conference Team. Gamble, a senior from Pleasant Hill, Calif., played in last year’s NCAA Regional after earning an at-large selection. Gamble finished last season with a 73.22 scoring average, the third-best average in program history while posting eight Top-25 finishes including a pair in the Top-10. Gamble had a pair of Top-20 finishes this past fall, tying for 18th in the season-opening Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Kentucky and closed the fall tying for 14th at the Clash at Boulder Creek in Las Vegas.
