Thomasville, Ga. —In their second match of the Spring, the Wisconsin men’s golf team put up a strong showing with a sixth-place finish at the Seminole Intercollegiate hosted by Florida State. The Badgers were led by a pair of top-30 finishers in Spencer Turtz and Graham Moody.

As a team, Wisconsin shot a 14-over par (854), placing sixth out of 15 teams,
Individually, Turtz and Moody shined on the final day, climbing to the top of the group, both shooting under-par rounds and finishing in the top 30. Turtz shot 2-under par, 68 in round 3, finishing the tournament tied for 23rd with a 3-over par, 213 (75-70-68). Moody trailed one stroke behind in round 3, with a 1-under par, 69. He finished the tournament tied for 30th place with a 4-over par, 214 (72-73-69).
Beckman was the low Badgers after round one shooting a 1-under par, 69 in round 1 before ultimately finished 9-over.
Florida State took the tournament title with a large margin, carding an 817 at 23-under par. In second place was Troy carding 829 at 11-under par. Tied in third are Augusta and North Alabama, scoring 834 at 6-under par.
