PULLMAN, Wash. (March 16, 2025) – The Washington State men’s golf team returns to tournament play for the first time in more than three weeks when it heads to the desert to compete in the 2025 Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate, hosted by the University of Arizona, March 17-18. The tournament will be held at the Tucson Country Club in Tucson, Ariz.
The Course and Tournament Format
The Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate will be held at the Tucson Country Club in Tucson. The tournament will be played at the par-72, 7,533-yard Tucson Country Club.
Teams will play 36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday. The Cougars are scheduled to tee off Monday at 8:30 a.m.

The Field
The Arizona thunderbirds Intercollegiate features four teams ranked in the Top 50. In addition to Washington State, other teams competing at the Arizona Thunderbirds Intercollegiate include host Arizona (#25), California, Cal State Long Beach (#29), Hawaii, UTEP, Mississippi State (#22), New Mexico State, Northern Illinois, Oregon State, Utah (#10), Wichita State and Wyoming.

Head Coach Dustin White is in his ninth season leading his alma mater. The 2024-25 Cougar squad, which returns four members from last season, looks to build of the 2024 campaign which saw WSU ends its season by capturing the title at the National Golf Invitational Championship, WSU’s first postseason tournament victory.
