STANFORD, Calif. — No. 47 Stanford returns to the links this week, hosting the 56th edition of The Goodwin at the Stanford Golf Course from March 27-29.
THE COURSE » The Goodwin heads back to Stanford for the first time since 2022 after a two-year stint at TPC Harding Park in San Francisco. This season, teams will compete on the par-70, 6,742- yard course that is nearing its 100th year of existence. One of nearly 30 college courses in the country, the Stanford Golf Course has been home to numerous prestigious tournaments and offers stunning views of the Bay Area.
THE FIELD » 30 collegiate programs head to The Farm with six in the top 30 including No. 12 Utah, No. 15 UCLA, No. 24 Pepperdine, No. 27 BYU, No. 28 Long Beach State and No. 30 Georgia. No. 32 Colorado, No. 33 SMU, No. 34 Northwestern, No. 36 Oregon, No. 40 Arkansas Little Rock and No. 45 Colorado State join No. 47 Stanford as well as No. 54 TCU, No. 57 Santa Clara, No. 58 Clemson, No. 59 Loyola Marymount, No. 60 Cal, No. 81 Lipscomb and no. 87 San Jose State. Fresno State, Washington, San Francisco, Cal Poly, Washington State, Loyola (Md.), Howard, UC Davis, Nevada and Woffard are also in the mix.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT » The tournament consists of 54 holes of competition with three rounds of 18 holes played each day under the play five, keep four format. All three rounds begin with a staggered start from holes 1 and 10 at both 7 a.m. and noon PT.
THE CARDINAL LINEUP » Hitting the course for the Cardinal will be TK Chantananuwat, Jay Leng, Nathan Wang, Ethan Gao and Logan Kim. Competing individually will be Dean Greyserman, Kush Arora and Brian Ma.

STANFORD AT THE GOODWIN » Stanford has won The Goodwin 16 times as a program while earning 16 individual championships during the tournament’s history. Brandon Wu was Stanford’s last individual champion back in 2019, winning the tournament via a playoff. Prior to him, Maverick McNealy and Patrick Rodgers won the tournament in consecutive years in 2015 and 2014, respectively, as both players have since moved into their professional careers. As a team, Stanford holds the longest tournament win streak at six from 1970-1975.
