Women's Golf Falls against Georgia Southern


University of Missouri women’s golf fell to Georgia Southern in match play on Sunday.

Competing in their first match-play event of the season, the Tigers dropped all five contests in the best-of-five matchup. Melanie Walker fell 5-and-4 to No. 67 Louise Reau, with Jade Zamora dropping a 7-and-6 decision to Regina Plascencia and Alexandra Berglund falling 4-and-3 to Mary Miller.

Ffion Tynan dropped a 3-and-2 decision to LoraLie Cowart, while Fleur van Beek carried a lead late before falling 3-and-1 to Jiarui Chen

The Tigers stay in Athens, Georgia for the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Tuesday April, 8.
