University of Missouri women’s golf closes the regular season with play in the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Georgia on Tuesday, April 8.
TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
The 2025 Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic is a two-day tournament, playing 36 holes on Tuesday and 18 holes on Wednesday for a total of 54 holes. Both days will begin with a 7:30 a.m. CT shotgun start.
The 2025 field consists of teams from 12 different schools, including Mizzou. The Tigers compete alongside No. 34 Oklahoma, No. 35 Georgia Southern, No. 48 Alabama, Augusta, Chattanooga, Colorado State, Georgia, Georgia State, Queens, San Diego State and UAB.
The par-72 course at The University of Georgia Golf Course measures 6,217 yards in length.
TIGERS IN THE RECORD BOOKS
Senior Ffion Tynan holds the second-lowest stroke average in program history at 73.58, only behind Jessica Yuen (73.47). Her career as a Tiger has been highlighted by four top-10 finishes and two events under-par, including her current streak of seven events in the top-15. Despite being just a sophomore, Fleur van Beek also finds herself in fourth in career stroke average at 74.02.
LAST YEAR AT GEORGIA
Melanie Walker and Addie Dobson led the Tigers on the final day with a 76, both leading Mizzou in 2-of-3 rounds over the weekend. Walker finished 40th at the tournament with a 225 (77-72-76), while Dobson carded a 232 (74-82-76).
