Men’s Golf Looks To Repeat Success From Last Years Western Intercollegiate

Arizona Men’s Golf heads out to Santa Cruz, California to take on the 78th annual Western Intercollegiate, presented by Titleist. The Wildcats are part of the field taking on Pasatiempo Golf Club for the ninth time in the last 11 seasons with Golf Channel once again providing coverage of the event. The event’s format differs from college golf’s usual “five count four” format with each team playing lineups of six golfers with the five lowest scores counted.

Five out of the six have competed at the Western Intercollegiate before with the only one who has not is Freshman Matej Baca. Filip Jakubcik picked up his first ever collegiate win at last year’s Western Intercollegiate.
