Men's Golf Wraps Up Regular Season at The Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Rutgers men’s golf team rounds out their regular season this weekend at the Princeton University invitational.

Rainy conditions are expected this weekend, but Scarlet Knights head coach Rob Shutte has his team ready for anything.

“We got out to this course about a week ago and got some practice in, so we’re ready in case of any weather,” said Shutte. “We are excited to compete and continue to get ready for the Big Ten Championships.”

The Scarlet Knights look to finish their regular season with a bang, in a tournament where they can really establish themselves before the Big Ten Championships at the end of the month.

“We’re trying to get some guys on form, we’ve had such a strong schedule this spring so being one of the stronger ranked teams going into this weekend will help us compete and give us some contention to win,” Shutte said.

This is their final tournament before they head to Baltimore, Maryland for the Big Ten Championships, where coach Shutte hopes they can make some noise.
