Filip Jakubcik Still in Control of the Lead at Western Intercollegiate


Filip Jakubcik is in first place after day two of the Western Intercollegiate and has the Wildcats in third place. Filip has a one shot lead and the Wildcats are three shots back of SDSU. 

Jakubcik had another solid round with six birdies and two bogeys. He is leading the field in par three scoring average and has the second most made birdies. The only player he trails in birdies is Zach Pollo who is in third place at 6-under par. He shot a 66 and was bogey free in his second round. Pollo leads the field in par four scoring average playing them 3.80 shots on average. 

Griffin Rhoads shot 1-over par and is tied for 29th. He played the back nine 1-under par today. Tianyi Xiong is tied for 48th at 5-over par after carding a 75 in round two. He is playing the par fives 5-under par. Johnny Walker and Matej Baca are both tied for 53rd. Walker shot 4-over par and Baca shot a 75 in their second round.

Arizona is tied for the lead in most birdies made at 44 birdies through 36 holes. Also, they are playing the par fives 18-under par which is tied for the best too.
