At the conclusion of day two the Wildcats are in fifth place after a 11-over par round. Headed into the final round tomorrow, the Cats are six shots off of the leaders Oklahoma State. Nena Wongthanavimok leads the way for Arizona through 36 holes.
Wongthanavimok cards a 72 today and moves into sixth place overall. Carolina Melgrati, who was leading the tournament after the first round, shoots at 76 and drops into a tie for 14th. Charlotte Back went 3-over par in her second round and is now 4-over par for the tournament. She is tied for 18th. Julia Mismer is tied for 25th after shooting a 73 in her second round. Lilas Pinthier carded a 76 in round two to move to 11-over par for the tournament.
Arizona is tied for first in par four scoring average and second in par five scoring average. They have the second most birdies out of all the teams. Carolina Melgrati is playing the par fours even par which is the second best out of any individual. Nena Wongthanavimok is playing the par fives in 4.50 shots on average which is the second best as well.
First Wildcats will tee off at 6:50 am MST for the final round tomorrow. Go Cats!
