SAN BRUNO, Calif. (April 21, 2025) – Washington State Women’s Golf had five student-athletes placed on the West Coast Conference All-Academic Team, the conference office announced Monday.
Seniors Madelyn Gamble and Sarah Skovgaard Bils, junior Hannah Harrison, and sophomores Alice Johansson and Sara Pineros each earned WCC All-Academic Honorable Mention. The five selections are the most since 2021.
Gamble picks up her third straight All-Academic honor after posting a 3.30 cumulative GPA while majoring in management. The senior from Pleasant Hill, Calif. recorded five Top-25 finishes this season and capped her season tying for 18th at last weekend’s WCC Championships.
Skovgaard Bils also picks up her third All-Academic honor after producing3.69 cumulative GPA while majoring finance. The senior from Virum, Denmark tallied five Top-25 finishes this season including a tenth-place finish at the Bettie Lou Evans Invitational in Kentucky can capped her season finishing tied for 16th at the WCC Championships.
Harrison earns her second straight All-Academic honor after posting a 3.27 cumulative GPA while majoring in marketing. The junior from Granite Bay, Calif. heated up in the spring season, posting three Top-25 finishes in four competitions, finishing second at the Nashville Invitational and closed the season tying for 23rd at the WCC Championships.
Johansson picks up her first career All-Academic honor after posting a 3.24 cumulative GPA with business as her area of interest. The sophomore from Bollnas, Sweden recorded four Top-25 finishes including a team-best three Top-10’s. Johansson won the season-opening Bettle Lou Evans Invitation in Kentucky, shared the title at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic in Colorado week two and closed the season tying for tenth at the WCC Championships.
Pineros earns her first career All-Academic honor after producing a 3.83 cumulative GPA while majoring in finance. The sophomore from Bogota, Columbia tied for ninth at the Tri-State Invitational in the fall and competed in six events throughout the season.
