No. 8 Arizona State has made the NCAA Championship for the 39th time, tying Stanford for the most in the nation. Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye is looking to lead the program to a record ninth NCAA Title and her second at the helm in Tempe. The 2025 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship will run May 16-21, with GOLF Channel providing live coverage of the last three days. The Maroon & Gold will begin their stay in Carlsbad with a practice round on Thursday morning before participating in the first round. On Friday afternoon, Sun Devil Women’s Golf tees off starting at 12:45 PM MST on Hole 10, kicking-off the first of three stroke-play rounds. After three days, ASU must be in the Top-15 of the team standings in order to make the final day of stroke play (Monday). Should they find themselves in the Top-8 after Monday, the Sun Devils will earn a spot in the Match Play which begins on Tuesday. 2025 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship (Carlsbad, CA – Omni La Costa Resort & Spa)
For the second consecutive year, the NCAA Women’s Golf Championship will take place near San Diego at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad from May 16-21. Now that they have advanced from a Regional, Sun Devil Women’s Golf will attempt to win the program’s NCAA record ninth national championship. Missy Farr-Kaye was in charge the last time that ASU won a title, defeating Northwestern at Rich Harvest Farms in Chicago for the 2017 NCAA Women’s Golf Championship. Arizona State made the 2024 NCAA Championship and finished 16th, missing the Top-15 cut by just one stroke.
History at the NCAA Championship
The Sun Devil Women’s Golf program is the most prestigious in the nation, taking home a NCAA record eight NCAA Championships.
