CARLSBAD, Calif. –Vanderbilt men’s golfers Jackson Van Paris and Wells Williams were selected to the NCAA Division I PING All-Southeast Region team, as announced on Saturday by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
It is Van Paris’ second-straight NCAA Division I PING All-Southeast Region selection, while it is Williams’ first all-region honor from the GCAA. It is the second postseason honor for the Commodore duo this month, as both were selected to the All-SEC second team back on May 9.
Van Paris becomes the 12th Commodore in program history to earn multiple selections to the NCAA Division I PING All-Southeast Region team. The senior has enjoyed a spectacular 2024-25 campaign, leading the Commodores in stroke average at 69.58 strokes per round entering Saturday’s Round 2 at the 2025 NCAA Championships. Van Paris recently won the 2025 NCAA Amherst Regional, carding a career-low 8-under 202. It was his second collegiate win overall, and his first on American soil, as he previously earned medalist honors at the 2023 St Andrews Links Collegiate in Scotland.
The Pinehurst, North Carolina, native is currently No. 4 in the PGA TOUR University rankings and is No. 8 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings. Van Paris finished under par in a team-best 21 rounds and carded a season-best 5-under 65 in Round 2 of the SEC Championship.
