Harris Tabbed Golfweek All-American – University of South Carolina Athletics

COLUMBIA, S.C. – Redshirt junior Frankie Harris was tabbed a Golfweek Honorable Mention All-American on Wednesday the organization announced. It is the first career All-America honor for the Boca Raton, Fla. native. Harris also becomes the first Gamecock All-American under head coach Rob Bradley.

He becomes the 28^th different player in program history to earn All-America honors. The program has garnered 45 total All-America honors all-time.

Harris helped lead the team back to the NCAA Championship for the first time since 2019 as he T-2^nd at the NCAA Bremerton Regional, shooting 205 (-11) with scores of 72-66-67, back on May 14. He led the team this season with a 70.97 scoring average and an impressive five top-five finishes in 10 stroke play starts. His five top-five finishes are T-2^nd most for a single-season in program history with former All-Americans Matt NeSmith (2015-16), David Seawell (1993-94), Carl Paulson (1992-93) and Webb Heintzelman (1983-84).

Heading into next season, Harris’ nine career top-five finishes are currently T-7^th most in program history. NeSmith, Seawell and former All-American Kyle Thompson are tied with the most career top-fives at 14. He has three career wins, two shy of matching Thompson for the most career wins in program history.

Harris, who recently punched his ticket to the 2025 U.S. Open as co-medalist at the West Palm Beach final qualifier, will likely start next season inside the top-20 of the PGA TOUR University rankings which helps grant graduating seniors status on the various circuits that makeup the PGA TOUR family.
