SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The University of Notre Dame golf programs, women’s golf Head Coach Breanna Jenco, and Director of Golf John Handrigan, have named Brad Karpick assistant coach of both the women’s and men’s teams.
“Brad immediately grabbed my attention as a great fit for this position,” the recently appointed Jenco said. “His knowledge of Notre Dame and the team, paired with his organizational skills and work ethic, will be extremely helpful as we transition into these new roles. His enthusiasm and passion for coaching are infectious. I know he will bring positivity to everything he does, so all of us will benefit from him being an integral part of this program.”
Karpick spent the past year serving as Director of Operations and assistant coach for both programs and helped guide the women to three top-five team finishes in 2024-25.
“Brad has proven to be an exceptional coach and I’m thankful with this promotion that he will continue his career with ND Golf as he’s a great asset to our program,” Handrigan added.
Prior to his time at Notre Dame, he spent one year at the University of Missouri – St. Louis as an assistant coach. He also competed at GLVC rival, Maryville, for five seasons before earning his MBA in December 2023.
He recorded three top-10 and five top-25 finishes in his final season with the Saints, including winning the McKendree Bearcat Dual Gender with a score of 215 and was named the GLVC’s Men’s Golfer of the Week for his performance. Karpick had a scoring average of 74.03 in his final season.
“I would like to thank Coach Jenco, Coach Handrigan, and Nick Siergiej for the opportunity to continue to work with Notre Dame Golf student-athletes in a more direct role,” Karpick said Friday. “I am really excited to bring my passion into this role and help our student-athletes reach their full potential both on and off the course. I can’t wait to assist Coach Jenco in building this program to compete for ACC and national titles.”
