Seven From Women’s Golf Earn WGCA All-America Scholar Recognition

PISCATAWAY, N.J. – Seven members of the Rutgers women’s golf team were named 2024-25 Women’s Golf Association (WGCA) Division I All-American Scholars.

Graduate student Lucrezia Rossettin earned the honor for her fourth consecutive season. The trio of RU sophomores – Emily James, Krystal Li and Lorena Rossettin – all earned the honor for the second consecutive season. Additionally, freshmen Joline Truong and Judy Amano both earned the award in their first season of college golf, while transfer Grace Lu earned the honor in her first season as a Scarlet Knight.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50, while a recipient must have played in at least 50 percent of their team’s rounds during the 2024-25 season. The WGCA, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women’s collegiate golf coaches.

Under head coach Kari Williams, the Scarlet Knights have now accumulated 59 All-America Scholar awards since 2015.
