BLACKSBURG – Virginia Tech men’s golf demonstrated its excellence both on the course and in the classroom, as five Hokies were honored on the 2025 All-ACC Academic Men’s Golf Team, the Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday.
Virginia Tech’s representatives include:

Rahul Rajendran, Sophomore, FinTech & Big Data Analytics Finance
David Stanford, Senior, Business Information Technology
Gareth Steyn, Senior, Economics
To be eligible for consideration, student-athletes must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher while competing in at least half of their team’s competitive rounds during the 2024-25 season.
Rajendran earns a repeat selection to the prestigious academic team, underscoring his consistent excellence both academically and athletically.
The Hokies’ five selections highlight the program’s ongoing commitment to academic success and the comprehensive development of its student-athletes.
