KemperSports expands in Tennessee with Towhee Club

KemperSports has been selected to manage Towhee Club in Spring Hill, Tennessee, expanding its presence in the middle Tennessee market and complementing its work at The Governors Club in Brentwood.

Towhee Club is located 30 miles south of Nashville and hosts a public 18-hole course designed by Arnold Palmer that originally opened in 2006 and was fully renovated in 2021. The course is known for wide fairways, strategic bunkers and myriad scenic water features and appeals to golfers of all skill levels.

The club is also home to Birdsong Social, an elevated casual dining venue. It features indoor/outdoor seating, a relaxed atmosphere and chef-driven menu, and is a popular spot for post-round drinks, community events and family gatherings.

“The greater Nashville market is great for golf and Towhee Club stands out as one of the best public courses in the market,” said Steve Skinner, CEO of KemperSports. “We look forward to working with ownership, our new team members and the local community to elevate the experience for golfers and guests to Towhee Club.”

KemperSports’ growth has accelerated in 2025, after partnering with Touchstone Golf to add more than 40 properties to its portfolio, as well as management partnerships with multiple courses since the start of the year, including Porto Cima Golf Club, McHenry Golf Club and more.
