Franklin, Tenn. – Clemson women’s golf sits in eighth place after the opening round of the Mason Rudolph Championship on Friday, posting a 291 (+7) team score at the Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course. The Tigers are 23 shots back of leader Mississippi State (-16), which holds a seven-stroke advantage over second-place Vanderbilt (-9).

Isabella Rawl and Sarah Uebelhart paced the Clemson lineup with matching rounds of 72 (+1), placing them in a tie for 27th individually. Juliette Demeaux carded a 73 (+2), while Sydney Roberts followed with a 74 (+3). Ivy Schulze rounded out the lineup with an 80 (+9).
Competing as an individual, Aitana Tuesta led the Tigers with an even-par 71, good for a tie for 21st on the leaderboard.
Mississippi State jumped to the top of the standings with three players inside the top five, including co-leaders Ines Belchior and Moa Stridh, who each opened with 66 (-5). Vanderbilt sits second at 275 (-9), followed by North Carolina at 281 (-3), Arizona State at 285 (-1), Baylor and Indiana at 287 (+3), and Western Kentucky at 289 (+5). Clemson holds eighth at 291 (+7), one shot ahead of College of Charleston in ninth.
