FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Clemson women’s golf closed out play at the Mason Rudolph Championship on Sunday with a 290 (+6) team score to finish seventh overall at 870 (+18) at the Vanderbilt Legends Club South Course.
Freshman Sarah Uebelhart was Clemson’s top finisher with a steady 73 (+2) in the final round, tying for 19th at 216 (+3). Junior Ivy Schulze turned in Clemson’s best round of the day with a career-best 68 (-3), jumping 32 spots into a tie for 38th at 221 (+8). It marked the Tigers’ only under-par round of the tournament.
Isabella Rawl turned in a 75 (+4) to place tied for 35th at 220 (+7), while Sydney Roberts added a 76 (+5) to finish tied for 41st at 222 (+9). Juliette Demeaux rounded out the lineup with a 74 (+3), closing the week tied for 54th at 225 (+12).
Competing as an individual, sophomore Aitana Tuesta recorded a 74 (+3) to finish at 223 (+10), tied for 44th.
Vanderbilt claimed the team title at 837 (-15), edging Mississippi State by two strokes. The Bulldogs’ Sam Whateley took medalist honors at 204 (-9), three shots clear of the field.
Clemson returns to action Oct. 3–5 at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
