Women’s Golf competing in Nanea Invitational – Sun Devil Athletics

TEMPE – Sun Devil Women’s Golf heads back to the 2025 Nanea Invitational from Oct. 27-29, aiming to make their mark once again at the historic Hawaii Golf Course.

Arizona State will compete at Nanea Golf Course, with hopes of finishing at the top after finishing runner-up last season with a final score of -17/859.

This will wrap up the Sun Devils’ fall schedule, as they will enjoy a three-month break before their next event. The Spring season begins on Feb. 1st, when the Sun Devils make their debut in the state of California, competing at the Therese Hession Regional Challenge.

Last Time Out
Arizona State (-4/548) finished fifth place at the 19-team event hosted at Stanford Golf Course. Thirteen of the country’s Top-30 ranked teams competed for one of the most prestigious titles of the Fall. A total team effort led the Maroon and Gold to another Top-5 finish at a marquee event.

Redshirt junior Patience Rhodes led the way for the Sun Devils, who continues to deliver for her team. Rhodes tied for fifth, recording her second Top-10 finish of the fall. Rhodes (-7/206) is proving to be one of the top golfers in the nation, finishing only three strokes behind individual champion Megha Ganne (-10/203) from Stanford. 

The Competition (Scoreboard Rankings)

The ranked teams include #1 Stanford, #6 Auburn, #10 Texas, #17 UCLA, and #21 Arizona State. In total, five of the Top 25 teams in the country will be in Hawaii for the event.

The Lineup
Arizona State boasts one of the deepest and most talented rosters in the country. Redshirt junior Patience Rhodes earns the top spot yet again after finishing within the top-10 in the Mason Rudolph Championship and Stanford Intercollegiate.

Senior Paula Schulz-Hanseen will be playing in the No. 2 spot. Freshman Kate Dillon will make her fourth appearance as a Sun Devil, this time as the No. 3 golfer. Returners, Isla McDonald-O’Briend and Beth Coulter, will fill the last two spots, as the No. 4 and No. 5 golfer, respectively.
