CLEMSON, S.C. — Senior Thomas Higgins had a one-over-par 73 on Sunday to lead Clemson at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate in Alpharetta, GA. The Tigers finished 13th out of 14 teams in a field that included nine of the top 30 teams in the nation.
The tournament concluded Clemson’s fall schedule. The Tigers closed the fall with a 43-21-2 record against the field in their five tournaments. The Tigers return to action Feb. 16-18, 2026 for its first appearance of the spring at the Prestige, a tournament in La Quinta, California.
Colin Salema was Clemson’s top golfer at the Golf Club of Georgia with a 222 total and 41st place finish. The sophomore was Clemson’s top golfer on the par four holes with a 4.03 average. He had rounds of 73-73-76.
Higgins was one of three Tigers who finished with a 223 total, seven-over-par for the three rounds on the par 72 course that measures 6,993 yards. The senior from Ireland led the field in scoring on the par three holes with a 2.83 figure. He led the team in under-par holes with 11 off 10 birdies and an eagle. The eagle was the 12th of his Clemson career, which tied him with Doc Redman for ninth in Clemson history.
Sophomore Rich Wills also finished the event with a 223 score, good enough for 47th place. He had a strong 4.58 average on par five holes, best on the team. He had rounds of 73-76-74.
Oscar Bredkjaer had an opening round 72 then had rounds of 74 and 77 to finish at 223, seven over par. The transfer from San Francisco had a 2.92 average on par three holes, third best in the field.
Senior Lucas Augustsson had a 76 on Sunday to finish at 10 over par 226 for the 54 holes.
Top ranked Virginia won the tournament by 15 shots over Duke with a 24-under-par figure. Southern California was third and Pepperdine was fourth in the national field.
