The field is set.

The 2024 Summer Olympics get underway next month, and Monday the field of 60 players was finalized for the men’s golf competition at Le Golf National, the 2018 Ryder Cup venue and home of the DP World Tour’s Open de France since 1991.

The men’s competition is set for Aug. 1-4 and the women’s Aug. 7-10. This summer will mark the third consecutive Olympic Games to include golf after its return to the schedule in Rio de Janeiro in 2016.

Sixty players earned a spot based on the official International Golf Federation world ranking list as of June 17, 2024. The Olympic qualifying criteria is designed to ensure players from around the world are represented, including a large portion of the field ranked outside the top 200.

The top-15 players in the world were eligible, with a limit of four players from any given country. The rest of the field will came straight from the rankings, with a maximum of two eligible players from each country that does not already have two or more players in the top 15. The host country, France, is ensured at least one spot.

And a reminder: Even with Bryson DeChambeau’s win in the U.S. Open, he won’t be on the team.
