Blue Devil Golfers in the Pros Update


DURHAM – A total of 13 former Duke women’s golfers are currently competing on three different tours – LPGA, Ladies European Tour and the Epson Tour.  GoDuke.com checked in on the Blue Devils to see how they are performing so far in 2024. 
 
The Duke golfers have combined for nine top-10 finishes, 19 top-20 placements, 67 rounds in the 60s and collected earnings of $1,038,511.12 so far in 2024.

Boonchant’s LPGA Bio
 
Jaravee Boonchant is enjoying her second year in the LPGA, playing in eight tournaments so far this season. Boonchant has made the cut in her last two tournaments, earning two top-45 finishes and shooting even or under part for six of the seven rounds played. Her best finish of the season was the Honda LPGA Tournament in Thailand, where she shot 15-under with rounds of 68, 67, 71, and 67 for a total of 273, earning a top-10 finish. Boonchant also made the cut in her most recent tournament, the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, finishing tied for 41st as she shoot 5-under-par with rounds of 70, 70, 69, and 74 for a total of 74. So far this year, Boonchant has registered six rounds in the 60s and has 10 rounds of under par. In her two years in the LPGA, Boonchant has secured three top-10 finishes.

Beck’s LPGA Bio
 
Laetitia Beck has been playing on the LPGA since 2015. She has appeared in nine tournaments so far this season. Beck has been right around the cutline numerous times and was finally able to break through this past week. She made the cut in her most recent tournament, the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give, earning a tie for 53rd finish and shooting 3-under par with rounds of 71, 71, 69, and 74. She has also recorded four rounds in the 60s so far this season. Beck looks forward to continuing the 2024 LPGA season.
