Kari Bellville Named Associate Head Coach – Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Official Athletics Website

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Fighting Irish Women’s Head Golf Coach, Caroline Powers Ellis, announced the promotion of Kari Bellville to Associate Head Coach for the Notre Dame Golf programs.

“Kari’s hard work and dedication to our student-athletes and Notre Dame Golf is unmatched,” said Powers Ellis.

Bellville is a 2018 graduate from Notre Dame and has been an assistant coach for the Fighting Irish for the last two seasons. She will head into her third season with both programs in the 2024-25 school year.

She was a part of a historic year for Irish Golf. This past season she helped guide Lauren Beaudreau to a first place finish at the NCAA East Lansing Regional, the program’s first-ever player to win an NCAA Regional.

The men’s program also punched their ticket at the Austin Regional, making it the first NCAA Championship appearance for the men’s team since the regional format was adopted in 1989. Palmer Jackson capped off his Notre Dame career with a historic top-ten finish at the National Championship. In the modern era, Jackson’s eighth place finish is the highest for any Irish golfer at the NCAA Championship in Notre Dame history.

“She has a commitment to excellence and upholds the Notre Dame standard in everything she does,” added Powers Ellis. “I feel fortunate to work alongside Kari every day and together we will continue to push Irish Golf to be the best it can be.”
