Brooks Announces 2024-25 Schedule - Duke University


DURHAM, N.C. – Duke women’s golf head coach Dan Brooks, who enters his 41st season with the Blue Devils, announced the 2024-25 schedule on Thursday, which features 11 events in the fall and spring.
 
The winningest coach in Division I history with 143 victories, seven NCAA Championships and 21 ACC Championships, Brooks and the Blue Devils return two starters – Andie Smith and Katie Li – along with senior Rylie Heflin, while adding three incoming freshmen to the mix — Anna Cañado Espinal, Carla De Troia and Martina Yu
 
Duke opens the season at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate once again Sept. 9-11 against one of the top fields nationally.  The event will be contested at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.  Other events in the fall include the Windy City Collegiate Classic (Sept. 30 – Oct. 1) in Chicago, the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invitational (Oct. 11-13) in Chapel Hill and the Landfall Tradition (Oct. 25-27) in Wilmington.
 
Following a break for the holidays, the Blue Devils will resume action Feb. 2-4 at the UCF Challenge in Orlando.  The tournament will be played at the Eagle Creek Golf Club. 
 
Duke will feature a busy month of March with three tournaments – Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (March 3-5) in Hilton Head, South Carolina, The Old Barnwell Match Play (March 17-18) in Aiken, South Carolina and the Chattanooga Classic (March 28-30) in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
 
The ACC Championship is set to return to Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro from April 16-19. 
 
NCAA Regional action will be played May 5-7 at the following sites – Charlottesville, Virginia (Birdwood Golf Course), Columbus, Ohio (OSU Golf Club – Scarlet Course), Golf Canyon, Arizona (Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club), Lexington, Kentucky (University of Kentucky), Lubbock, Texas (The Rawls Course) and Norman, Oklahoma (Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club). 
 

For the second straight year, the NCAA Championship will be hosted by the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa Champions Course in Carlsbad, California.
