White Extends Brennan Webb's Contract Following Triple-Win Season and Top-10 NCAA Championships Finish

Following a program-record-tying three-win season and 10th-place finish in the NCAA Championships in 2024, Vice Chancellor/Director of Athletics Danny White announced that he has extended Tennessee men’s golf head coach Brennan Webb‘s contract through the 2028-29 season.

Tennessee’s future on the course has never looked brighter, as Webb has led the Volunteers to new heights in his six seasons on Rocky Top. The 2024-25 campaign will be his seventh at Tennessee and 10th overall as a head coach.

“Brennan has shown exceptional leadership in elevating our men’s golf program to national prominence,” said White. “We are thrilled to secure his long-term commitment on Rocky Top as we strive to become the best in the nation!”

“The passion and support of the best fan base in the country coupled with the unparalleled leadership of President Boyd, Chancellor Plowman and our AD Danny White has undoubtedly made the University of Tennessee the best place in the country to be a coach,” said Webb. “In this day and age of college athletics, to be able to coach in an athletic department where every sport gets the maximum amount of support is an incredible blessing.”

Throughout his tenure on Rocky Top, Webb has guided the Vols to 11 team tournament titles, which places him third in program history for tournament wins. Additionally, Webb has led UT to two NCAA Championships appearances, including the 2024 NCAA Championships.

“There is a reason this is THE EVERYTHING SCHOOL and the recent success of the entire athletic department is not an accident,” Webb said. “I am so thankful for the opportunity to continue on our path of building the best golf…
