DURHAM, N.C. – The 51st season for Duke women’s golf and the 41st under the direction of head coach Dan Brooks is set to commence Monday, Sept. 9 as the Blue Devils compete in the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M, which will take place Sept. 9-11 at the Royal Golf Club in Lake Elmo, Minnesota.
The Blue Devils, who are preseason ranked No. 15 nationally, will see action along with Minnesota, Wake Forest, Duke, Oregon, UCLA, UCF, Clemson, Iowa State, Arizona State, California, South Carolina and Purdue.
It marks the 10th edition of the ANNIKA Intercollegiate presented by 3M and the sixth contested at the Royal Golf Club. The Blue Devils are set to see action for the ninth time in program history. Last season, Phoebe Brinker collected rounds of 70, 68 and 70 to finish at 8-under-par, 208, to tie for first individually.
Duke will feature a lineup of senior Rylie Heflin, junior Andie Smith, sophomore Katie Li, freshman Anna Cañado Espinal and freshman Carla De Troia.
All teams will play 18 holes each day with tee times ranging from 9:30-11 a.m. (ET).
The Blue Devils open play Monday beginning at 9:30 a.m. (ET) off hole No. 10 with Li going off first, followed by Espinal, De Troia, Smith and Heflin every 10 minutes.
