The Presidents Cup returns to Canada and The Royal Montreal Golf Club this week as the U.S Team faces off against the International Team in the 15th edition of the event. Each team consists of 12 golfers and the competition will take place over four days – Four-Ball matches on Thursday, Foursomes on Friday, both styles will be played on Saturday (morning and afternoon) and 12 singles matches on Sunday. World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler returns to action after capturing the TOUR Championship and winning the FedExCup for the first time. He’s still looking for his first Presidents Cup victory after going 0-3-1 in 2022. World No. 2 Xander Schauffele will also be teeing it up for the U.S Team. He claimed three points from five matches two years ago, including the tournament clinching point for the U.S Team. Schauffele may be teaming up with good friend and Zurich Classic of New Orleans playing partner, Patrick Cantlay, for several matches this week. The International Teams’ top-ranked player, Hideki Matsuyama, will hope to lead the line in Canada. The Japan native won twice on TOUR this season running away from the field at both The Genesis Invitational and the FedEx St. Jude Championship, but has been inconsistent in past Presidents Cups, with a 7-10-5 overall record. Others to look out for are Collin Morikawa, Max Homa, Tom Kim and Min Woo Lee.
