Papaziani Leads Terps at Golden Flash Individual


HUDSON, OHIO — Junior Armand Papaziani of the Maryland men’s golf team finished tied for ninth to lead the four Terrapins competing in the Golden Flash Invidivual event Monday at the Country Club of Hudson in Hudson, Ohio.

Papaziani went +2 overall, shooting an even 72 in the first round and a 74 in the second. Sophomore Manato Nakatani tied for 14th after going +5 with a score of 149 (74-75). Junior Ronnie Kim tied for 20th with a score of 153 (75-78) and freshman Benjamin Siriboury finished 25th with a score of 158 (77-81).

The Terrapins were scheduled to compete in the Quail Valley Collegiate event this past weekend in Vero Beach, Fla. which was canceled due to Hurricane Milton. 

Next, the Terps will close out the fall season at the White Sands Intercollegiate in the Bahamas Oct. 25-27.
