Men’s Golf Wraps Up Play at North Alabama


Sophomore Brock Snyder posted his second-straight top-15 finish to start the 2024-25 campaign, leading the University of Missouri men’s golf at the Turtle Point Invite, hosted by North Alabama.

Snyder finished the 54-hole tournament at -3, posting a final-round 73 for a career-best 213 (71-69-73). Overall, the sophomore tallied 10 birdies and one eagle during the tournament as he placed 12th overall.

Freshman Trent Mierl finished the tournament strong with a two-under 70 for the best score by a Tiger on Tuesday. Overall, Mierl placed 18th at even par (74-72-70) over the 54 holes. Classmates Jakob Hansen at +6 (72-74-76) and Bubba Chapman at +9 (71-75-79) rounded out the tournament for MU.

The Tigers are back in action this Sunday, competing at The Williams Cup, hosted by North Carolina.
