Cavaliers Place Fourth at Stanford Intercollegiate

STANFORD, Calif. — The No. 12 Virginia women’s golf team wrapped its fall slate as the team combined to shoot 3-over 855 and place fourth at the Stanford Intercollegiate on Sunday afternoon (Oct. 20) at the Stanford Golf Course.

The team was led overall by Jaclyn LaHa who carded a third round 71 for a 54-hole total of 4-under 209 to finish 10th on the individual leaderboard—her best finish of the fall season.

Megan Propeck delivered the team’s best score on the final 18 shooting 2-under 69 finishing 21st on the leaderboard. Amanda Sambach posted a third round 72 to place 27th at 2-over 215.

Freshman Kennedy Swedick wrapped up her best outing of the season shooting back-to-back 73s for a 54-hole score of 7-over 220.

The Cavaliers will be back in action when they host the Collegiate Invitational at GCC in Guadalajara, Mexico on Friday (Jan 31) and Saturday (Feb. 1).
