USC’s Jack Jerge Wins Grapevine Amateur

NAPA, Calif. – USC men’s golf Jack Jerge (Pleasant Hill, Calif./St. Mary’s College) earned his second-career World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) win after taking the top prize at the 2024 Grapevine Amateur at the Silverado G.C. 

Sophomore Jerge put together a tournament-best final round, 67 (-5), as he raced past the field en route to his first tournament win of the 2024 season. Jerge utilized two rounds in the 60s, as he fired a 69-70-67 making him 10-under-par in this offseason win. 

Freshman Jaden Dumdumaya joined his teammate at this tournament and finished tied for 10th. Dumdumaya put together a 70-72-72 to make him two-under par. 

The Trojans return to action to start the fall season with the Southwestern Invitational, which will be held from Monday, Jan. 27, through Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Lake Sherwood C.C. in Lake Sherwood, Calif.
