Women’s Golf Finishes 17th at Briar’s Creek

Round 2 – Tuesday, March 11th

Weather: Partly Cloudy, Temps in mid 50s, 10-20 mph winds

Joline Troung led the RU efforts for the second straight day, shooting a 6-over 78 to finish in a tie for 54th. Grace Lu had the strongest final round for the Scarlet Knights, shooting a 4-over 76 with a team-high four birdies to move up seven spots on the leaderboard and finish in a tie for 78th. 

Judy Amano shot a 6-over 78 and Lucrezia Rossettin shot a 7-over 79, with the duo finishing the event tied for 82nd. Lorena Rossettin shot a 9-over 81 with a pair of birdies to finish in a tie for 87th. 

Competing as an individual, Krystal Li wrapped up the Rutgers contingent with a t-96th finish. 

Round 1 – Sunday, March 9th

Weather: Partly Cloudy, Temps in mid 50s, 10-20 mph winds

Joline Troung led the individual effort for the Scarlet Knights with a 3-over 75 to move into 38th place after one round, collecting birdies on 9 and 15. 

Lorena Rossettin shot a 7-over 79 in round one, picking up a birdie on the first hole. Lucrezia Rossettin was just behind her at 8-over 80, using birdies on 6 and 11 to tie for 78th. 

Judy Amano and Grace Lu were just one stroke behind, each shooting a 9-over 81 on Sunday. Amano birdied 16, while Lu birdied 3. 

Competing as an individual, Krystal Li shot a 13-over 85 in her opening round.
