In the third round of the 2025 Zurich Classic of New Orleans, Rory McIlroy makes a closing 30-foot eagle on the par-5 18th hole. McIlroy and Lowry would capture a share of the lead at 22-under par with the putt.

The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is the lone team event on the PGA TOUR schedule and once again features the game’s best players. This is the eighth year the Zurich Classic has been played as a team event. Fresh off his Masters victory, Rory McIlroy will once again team up with friend-of-20-years Shane Lowry to defend their title in New Orleans. Collin Morikawa is the other top-10 ranked golfer in the field in New Orleans and will be teaming up with Kurt Kitayama after the duo finished T23 a year ago. There are three sets of brothers teeing it up, with Matt and Alex Fitzpatrick joined by two sets of twins: Yannik and Jeremy Paul along with Rasmus and Nicolai Højgaard.
