UW Men’s Golf Set For First-Ever Big Ten Championships


BALTIMORE – The Washington men’s golf team will chase its first ever conference championship as a member of the Big Ten, taking part in the Big Ten Championships, hosted at Baltimore Country Club Friday through Sunday.
 
All 18 member institutions qualify for the Big Ten Championship, which follows a standard play-five-count-four scoring format.
 
The par-70 course at Baltimore Country Club will play at a different yardage each day, with Friday’s round set at 6,969 yards, while round two is set at 7,177 yards and round three is measured at 7,012 yards.

Washington will be paired with Minnesota and Wisconsin in the opening round, teeing off beginning at 7:40 a.m. PT from hole 1.

Washington’s lineup for the Big Ten Championship is as follows:

  2. Jake Foley
  3. Drew Warford
  4. Jack Murphy
  5. Brock Maulding
