SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Sophomore Jacob Modleski of the University of Notre Dame men’s golf team continues to add to his 2025 accolades as he was named to Golfweek’s All-America Second Team, as announced Wednesday.
In his second season with the Irish, Modleski competed in all 12 team tournaments, leading his team to two team championships in the regular season before taking the individual title at the ACC Championships in late April. Modleski then advanced to the NCAA Championships site in Carlsbad, California to play over Memorial Day Weekend following a fourth place individual finish at the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
He finished the season ranked 18th in the nation following a 22nd-place finish at the NCAA Championships and was fourth among conference foes.
Having competed in 40 total rounds over the course of the season, Modleski’s stroke average of 68.5 set a program record while he also became the first ACC Individual Champion in Notre Dame men’s golf history.
