Women's Golf Takes 7th Place at NGI Championship

MARICOPA, Ariz. – Rutgers women’s golf took home seventh place at the 2025 National Golf Invitational Championship at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club.

Sunday evening marked the completion of the 2024-25 season for the Scarlet Knights, who competed in a postseason invitational for the second time in program history, with last year’s NGI title being the first.

“While this wasn’t the result we were hoping for, playing in the NGI was still a great experience for our team,” head coach Kari Williams. “Competing in the postseason has added excitement and pressure, and it was good for our returning players to face that challenge. It is certainly something we can learn from and build on as we look ahead to next fall.”
