Golf Live and FlightScope have announced the first integration of remote video capture with launch monitor data — marking a new step forward for virtual golf instruction.
The collaboration pairs Golf Live’s live remote video platform with FlightScope’s Mevo+, a radar-based launch monitor, to allow players and coaches to connect in real time. During a session, coaches can view swing footage, analyze ball flight data, highlight key metrics and track progress over time. All data and video are recorded for future review.
“As Golf Live continues to evolve and expand, we are constantly pushing the envelope of what our patented technology is capable of,” said Keith Scioli, founder and CEO of Golf Live.
Golf Live offers golfers access to virtual coaching by capturing video of their swing and enabling live feedback from instructors. FlightScope, founded in 1989, is known for its precision tracking and data analysis tools across multiple sports.
Henri Johnson, founder and CEO of FlightScope, said the timing is right for this kind of integration.
“To combine Mevo+’s full complement of data parameters with live, virtual instruction is so very valuable for players and their instructors,” Johnson said. “We believe there is a growing need for remote coaching around the world.”
