VAIL, COLO. — Arizona Women’s Golf sits fourth place at the Golfweek Red Sky Classic after round one. The Cats are 1-under par and nine shots behind three place at the moment.
Charlotte Back was the low Wildcat through the first 18 holes after carding a 69. She had five birdies including three back to back on holes 11-13 and is tied for sixth. Freshman Kinsley Ni finishes 2-under par in her debut round for the Wildcats. Solid round of golf with three birdies and only one bogey to put her inside the top ten.
Julia Misemer was 2-under through nine holes but had a few bogeys on the back nine to finish 1-over par. Nena Wongthanavimok had four birdies today but finished the round with a 75. Angela Arora ended the day 7-over par.
The Wildcats tee off at 10:40am MST tomorrow.
